Home wine-making class on tap in Lewiston

A home wine-making class will be offered in Lewiston by Stu Scott, former proprietor and wine maker at Camas Prairie Winery of Moscow.

The class is from 6 to 9 p.m. next Wednesday at the Lewiston Community Center, 1424 Main St. Cost is $40 for anyone 21 or older. Registration forms are available at cityoflewiston.org or at the Lewiston Community Center. Forms need to be turned in by Friday.

The class will go over how common household and kitchen goods can be used to make wine. Scott will also talk about brewing beer at home.
