Author will talk about book at Colfax
Author Christine McDonald will discuss her new children’s book, “Just Imagine a More Beautiful World,” from 2-4 P.M. TODAY at the Colfax Library, 102 S. Main St. Her book will be available for purchase.
Reception planned for crew of the USS Idaho at Lewiston
A reception for six future members of the USS Idaho attack submarine is planned for 6-7:30 P.M. TODAY at the Lewiston VFW Sourdough Post 10043, 1104 Warner Ave., Lewiston. The reception is open to the public. The submarine is currently being constructed at Connecticut and is scheduled to enter active service in the U.S. Navy in 2025.
