GRANGEVILLE -- A Grangeville woman is scheduled to be arraigned in 2nd District Court here on three felony counts of grand theft.

Darri Cadwallader, 61, is charged in connection with the theft of $221,703 from Bell Equipment of Grangeville, where she was the office manager, between Aug. 8, 2018, and April 18, 2020.

According to the criminal complaint, Cadwallader, on different occasions, made deposits in various financial institutions of $43,844, $167,305 and $10,554.

Cadwallader appeared before Magistrate Jeff P. Payne on Aug. 12 and waived a preliminary hearing. She is scheduled to appear before Judge Adam H. Green in District Court on Oct. 23 at 1:15 p.m.

She is represented by Robyn L. McPherson of the Sullivan Law Office in Moscow. Zachary Pall of Lewis County has been appointed special prosecutor in the case.
