A news release from the Nez Perce County Sheriff’s Office said an unnamed juvenile male was injured in a side-by-side accident on Steigers Road and taken by air ambulance to St. Joseph Regional Medical Center at Lewiston. Steigers Road connects to the Giffords-Reubens Road.

The news release included a reminder that juveniles should be supervised when riding in off-road vehicles, must possess a valid driver’s license if driving, and wear helmets.
