When it was discovered no structures were threatened, all other resources were canceled. Two water tenders from Asotin County Fire District #1 were requested, and a large amount of water was used to put out the fire, according to the news release.

The Lewiston Fire Department responded with one structure engine, one chief officer and the mutual aid from Asotin County. Crews were on scene for two hours to ensure the fire was contained within the concrete pool.

No one was injured as a result of the fire.
