Tri-State Hospital fundraiser plunges into its 38th edition

The Festival of Trees, the annual fundraiser organized by the Tri-State Hospital Foundation, is scheduled for next week at a new venue.

The festival will take place at the Clearwater River Casino and Lodge east of Lewiston starting Wednesday and running through next Saturday. This is the 38th year of the event, which serves as a fundraiser for the Clarkston hospital.

Here is the schedule of events:

Memorial Tree of Lights Remembrance Ceremony, 7 p.m. Wednesday.

Community Day, 3-8 p.m. Thursday. Attendees will have an opportunity to view the large trees that will be auctioned off.

Meet & Greet, 6 p.m. Friday, with the program beginning at 6:45 p.m. Tri-State’s executive leadership will be on hand for this event. Tickets are $20 and may be purchased at tristatehospital.org/fot.

Gala, 5 p.m. Saturday, with the program beginning at 7:30 p.m. Twelve large trees will be auctioned off, along with additional packages and silent auction items. There will also be dinner and dancing. Tickets cost $150, or $1,200 for a table of eight, and those may be purchased at tristatehospital.org/fot.

Mini trees and wreaths may be purchased through an online auction, beginning at noon Thursday and ending at 10 p.m. Friday.
