Early morning fire destroys vehicle in Orofino

OROFINO — The Clearwater County Sheriff’s Office was called to the scene of a vehicle fire Monday at 6:15 a.m. at milepost 8.5 on Upper Fords Creek Road.

The driver of the vehicle had left the scene, but the vehicle was a total loss, according to a news release from the sheriff’s office. The cause of the fire is unknown.
