AHSAHKA — Flows exiting Dworshak Dam were scheduled to increase from about 9,500 cubic feet per second to 12,000 cubic feet per second starting at 11 p.m. Wednesday, according to a news release from the Army Corps of Engineers.

The dam’s hydroelectric unit No. 3 was put online Wednesday following a series of tests. The increased flows were expected to raise the elevation of the Clearwater River by about 4 inches as measured at the U.S. Geological Survey gauge in Peck, according to a news release from the agency.
