A yard sale will raise money to pay for medical expenses incurred by lifelong Lewiston resident Jerry Wickizer, who suffered a major heart attack and underwent open-heart surgery in Spokane.
The sale will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 8 in the parking lot across from the Lewiston Tribune building at 505 Capital St., in downtown Lewiston.
Organizers are asking for donations of items for the sale, which may be dropped off at the white pickup and trailer in the parking lot of the Tribune's production center at 607 Capital St.
Barbecued burgers and cold soda will be available for purchase the day of the sale, with all money going to pay for Wickizer's medical expenses
Wickizer is a 16-year journeyman plumber for Miller Bros. Plumbing in Lewiston.
