Contractor injured in ATV rollover

ASOTIN — A fencing contractor working in rural Asotin County was injured Tuesday in an ATV rollover.

Sgt. Paul Mosman of the Department of Fish and Wildlife said the wreck occurred along the south fork of Asotin Creek and Park Ridge, about 15 to 20 miles from Asotin.

The injured man’s name has not been released. He was conscious and breathing when airlifted to St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Lewiston.

Mosman said contracted crews are working on boundary fences in the remote area.
