ASOTIN — A 41-year-old Clarkston woman arrested for alleged possession of fentanyl pills pleaded not guilty Monday in Asotin County Superior Court.
Alisha K. Bellavance was arrested earlier this month by the Quad Cities Drug Task Force after a search warrant was served and about 1,350 fentanyl pills were seized at a residence on the 900 block of Riverview Blvd.
Bellavance, who is in custody of the Asotin County Jail on a $75,000 bond, is charged with possession of fentanyl with intent to deliver, a Class B felony.
The search warrant was part of an investigation that began in 2022. The task force was assisted by Clarkston and Lewiston police, along with the regional SWAT team.
Bellavance is represented by Spokane attorney John Perry, and Deputy Prosecutor Jaime Young will be handling the case on behalf of the state.
During the search, detectives allegedly found the fentanyl pills, approximately two grams of fentanyl powder, methamphetamine, clonidine pills, drug paraphernalia and packaging material, according to a previous news release from the Quad Cities Drug Task Force.
At the time, Kyle L. Rudfelt, 37, of Lewiston, was arrested on a warrant out of Nez Perce County. To date, Rudfelt has not been charged in Asotin County in connection with this case.
