The body discovered Sunday has been identified as Ezekiel Fisher, who was reported missing a week ago.

Fisher's body was found in a stream on the south end of Memorial Bridge in Lewiston, according to a news release. He appeared to have been in the stream for several days and was unidentifiable.

Lewiston police Lt. Budd Hurd said in a text message that no foul play is suspected in Fisher's death.

Fisher, 40, was identified after an autopsy, conducted the following day.

He was reported missing Oct. 24. He was homeless but lived locally. Fisher's cause of death has not been determined, and detectives continue to investigate the incident.

Investigators are seeking any information about Fisher's whereabouts over the past several weeks. Anyone with information is asked to call Detective Brian Erickson at (208) 746-0171.
