A Lewiston resident called 911 after seeing two girls punching one another. The girls were sisters and it was discovered one of the siblings hit her sister with a flip-flop. Police notified the girls’ parents to execute parental justice over the flip-flop fight.

Lewiston police responded to an activated burglar alarm on the 1600 block of 23rd Avenue. Officers found that the janitor accidentally set off the alarm.

A Lewiston resident was concerned after seeing a man sitting in a parked truck with his foot sticking out of the window. Police responded but were unable to find the man trying to beat the heat on his feet.

A 911 caller initially reported that someone ran over and killed a cat near a driveway on the 700 block of Bryden Avenue. Officers located the “cat,” which was uglier than most felines and determined it was a raccoon.

A Lewiston resident on Del Sol Lane called police reporting a neighbor dog got loose and was pooping and peeing in the resident’s yard. The resident reported this has been an ongoing issue.

A 911 caller reported a suspicious car in an alleyway near Ridgeway Drive. The suspicion-raising behavior? A person was “dancing around” outside of the car while three occupants in the car observed.

A bunch of kids put a firework in a mailbox on the 1400 block of Terrace Drive in Clarkston. The firework exploded and destroyed the mailbox.

A Moscow woman reported a person at the Latah County Fair got into an argument with her and some “mean words” were said. Fair folks are far from furious, so it’s likely the “mean words” were fairly tame.

A Moscow man was in the middle of West Sixth Street and yelling at drivers to “run (him) over.”

Moscow firefighters responded to a fire alarm at the University of Idaho Wallace Residence Center, but discovered it was burnt food.

A Moscow man caught a skunk in a trap but didn’t know what to do with it so he called police. The man reported he would put the cage in a shady area as he had to go to work. Reports didn’t say if the stinky situation was resolved by police or if the skunk escaped.

Pullman police responded to a report of residents tossing beer cans from the balcony of a home on the 800 block of Northeast B Street.

A drunk Pullman man was found on the 900 block of Northeast B Street covered in leaves and vomit. He was taken to the police department, though reports didn’t say if officers were re-leaved he was covered in foliage blocking the vomit from the squad car.

Pullman firefighters responded to a dumpster fire on the 500 block of Northeast Colorado Street.

A Pullman resident reported a drunk man they did not know walked into their Northeast Whitman Street home just before midnight. Reports didn’t say if the boozy break-in was a beer burglar.
