Alternative Giving Market starts raising funds

The Alternative Giving Market of the Palouse is starting its fundraising for local nonprofit organizations from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Prichard Art Gallery, 414 S. Main St., Moscow.

A $5 donation will be used to surface five feet of trail on the Latah Trail, grow a row of vegetables for Backyard Harvest, purchase a pound of nails for Habitat for Humanity or release a baby sea turtle into the Pacific Ocean through Moscow High School's Environmental Club.
