Actor Kirk Cameron set to appear at Reliance Center banquet in Lewiston

Kirk Cameron, actor and evangelist, will be the guest speaker at the sixth annual Truth and Grace Banquet at the Nez Perce County Fairgrounds in Lewiston in February 2024.

The banquet is the largest fundraising event for the Reliance Center, a faith-based, anti-abortion pregnancy center in Lewiston. The guest speaker at this year’s banquet was Tim Tebow, and the event was sold out with more than 1,200 in attendance, according to a Reliance Center news release.

Cameron gained fame playing Mike Seaver on the sitcom “Growing Pains” (1985-1992), and appeared in the “Left Behind” film series. He has become an outspoken Evangelical Christian.

The banquet is scheduled for Feb. 3, 2024. The Reliance Center is seeking sponsors and underwriters for the event. Those include a title sponsor ($15,000), major sponsors ($5,000), food sponsors ($3,500), printing sponsors ($2,500), table sponsors ($1,000) and dessert sponsors ($500).
