It appears that the levy in support of the Mountain View School District in the Grangeville area has been approved by voters.
Late Tuesday night, the measure appeared to be losing, but final results Wednesday morning show 2,185 votes in favor to 1,999 votes opposed, according to the Idaho Secretary of State website.
The $2.9 million, two-year levy will cost property owners $182.16 per $100,000 in assessed value.
It will help fund staffing, academic and extra-curricular activities and support Clearwater Valley High School, Elk City School and elementary libraries.
This ends a streak of three consecutive Mountain View School District levies being rejected by voters. Those previous measures were defeated in 2020, 2021 and 2022.
All other school district levies in north central Idaho appear to be on their way to passing.
Below are the results in contested races in the region. These are expected to stand as the final numbers.
