Shed damaged by fire last weekend on Pullman’s Military Hill

PULLMAN — A shed was burnt by a fire last weekend on Pullman’s Military Hill.

City of Pullman firefighters responded to the blaze Saturday night on Webb Street. Fire Chief Mike Heston said the building sustained considerable damage before crews extinguished the fire.

Although there was someone sleeping inside, Heston said no one was hurt during the blaze.

He said crews found a wood stove burning inside the shed, and believe that may have started the fire.

The blaze remains under investigation.
