Final arrangements for the appearance of Arthur Bros., five-ring circus at Lewiston next Saturday were completed yesterday by Ed Beck, advance press agent, with the attraction heralded by the posting of the familiar colorful billposters of the “beautiful lady aerialists and the funny clowns who together with 1,001 spectacular thrills are coming to Lewiston” (that’s what the press agent says).

“All new from marquee to back yard.” Arthur Bros. circus this season will present a spic and span appearance on the circus lot on Snake River avenue where among other notable stars of the big top the famous Poodles Hanneford and the distinguished family of bareback riders will display their prowess a-top the resin backs.

Featuring the only twin elephants in this country, Martin Arthur, owner, presents Moe and Joe, the twin baby pachyderms together with the famous herd of Arthur’s military elephants.

Other features with the show are Reuben Castang and his “almost human” chimpanzees: Jorgen Christiansen and his Criollo stallions; and the Escalantes, aerialist troupe.

A menagerie and horse fair is caried by the show as well as “the largest aggregation of clowns and pretty girls ever assembled under a big top.” Reserved seats will be on sale circus day at the Owl drug store.
