Four Lewiston High School juniors assembled at the school for this photo published in the March 23, 1966, Lewiston Tribune. The girls had been selected by the Lewis-Clark Unit of the American Legion Auxiliary as delegates to the Syringa Girls State session planned for June 12-18. Pictured are, standing from left, Alice Smith, Margie Bullard and Paula McCormick and, seated, Joan Blake. The sessions were to be held at Northwest Nazarene College in Nampa and also would include a day spent at the state Capitol at Boise.
