Pat Patterson said the 127 vehicles aboard were driven off the ferry Monday evening.

The ferry’s 274 passengers has been evacuated by small boats earlier, and many had waited at the terminal where they were served coffee and food. No injuries were reported but one woman with a pre-existing asthma condition was given oxygen after her evacuation.

The Hyak was returning to Anacortes after a trip from Friday Harbor in the San Juans.
