Marketing, accounting are topics of May events

Five free lunch-and-learn workshops for entrepreneurs will be held at Walla Walla Community College’s Clarkston campus in May.

All of the 1½-hour sessions start at 11:30 a.m. Spots can be reserved by emailing emma.carpenter@wwccc.edu.

The dates and topics are:

Thursday — Financing a business; registration deadline is Monday.

May 9 — Basic accounting for new businesses; registration deadline is May 6.

May 14 — Contract and employee management for small businesses; registration deadline is May 10.

May 16 — Small business feasibility analysis; registration deadline is May 13.

May 30 — Social media and online marketing; registration deadline is May 27.

The talks are organized by WWCC and the Southeast Washington Economic Development Association.
