Woman hopes to make impressions on customers
Custom clay impressions of children's hands and feet are the speciality of Heaven Sent Impressions, a home-based business that has opened in Clarkston.
Tricia Barnea takes the impressions, typically at a home party similar to one that might be thrown for Tupperware products. Then she paints the impressions in the color of the customer's choice and can add borders, sayings, or names and dates.
The business sells gifts to go along with the impressions, such as hair bows, blankets, burp cloths and individually-sewn baby clothes.
The impressions can also be done as an activity for children's parties. The business delivers a kit containing the supplies for the impressions, plus party items such as decorations and paper plates. The impressions are fired in a kiln and returned when finished.
The telephone number of the business is (509) 570-4109.
