Get inspired to go outside at the annual 5Point Adventure Film Festival at 6 p.m. tonight at the Kenworthy Performing Arts Centre, 508 Main St., Moscow.

NRS presents the evening of films, special guests and gear giveaways.

Tickets, $15, are at palouselandtrust.org/events-activities/5point2024.

The event benefits Moscow-based Palouse Land Trust, a nonprofit organization dedicated to conservation in north central Idaho.

Clarkston shows off its offerings from 4-7 p.m. Friday with Flavors of Downtown Clarkston.

Businesses along Sixth Street will offer specials, samples and live music during the annual showcase, including $4 clam diggers at Station 3 restaurant, beer and wine from Happy Day Catering and charcuterie at Twin Rivers Physical Therapy and Wellness.

Look for more starting next week, but already there are a few harvest festivals in the calendar, including the annual u-pick pumpkin sales and harvest festival at Washington State University’s Eggert Family Organic Farm in Pullman.

The harvest festival is Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with u-pick sales of pumpkins and other fall vegetables continuing Oct. 5. Admission is free; u-pick vegetables are prepriced.

Saturday’s activities include games and face-painting, and pumpkin pies, doughnuts and cider will be available for purchase.

You can find the farm at the corner of Animal Sciences Road and Terre View Road, behind the WSU Bear Research, Education and Conservation Center.

Music and visual arts converge on Wednesday when the annual commemorative poster for the Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival is revealed during a reception from 5:30-7 p.m. at Moscow City Hall, 206 E. Third St.

Inland 360 cover artist and well-known local painter Julene Ewert’s original design will be revealed at the event, and the lineup for April’s festival will be announced.

Refreshments for the free event are by Goose House Bakery, and the University of Idaho Jazz Choir II and World Beat Ensemble will provide live musical entertainment. !
