If the only reason you don't go to movies more is because of the price, then you might consider getting MoviePass.

For $9.95 a month, MoviePass lets you see one movie a day at participating theaters such as Village Centre Cinemas in Lewiston, Moscow and Pullman.

To sign up, go to www.moviepass.com and follow the sign up process. In five to seven business days, you will get your MoviePass card.

Once you have your card and download the app on your phone, you're all set.

MoviePass users must be within 100 yards of the theater to pick a movie and "check in" using the app. Once you check in, the ticket is added to your card. When you arrive at the ticket booth, give the cashier your MoviePass card to swipe the card, and then enjoy your movie.

It sounds more complicated than it actually is. Is it an app or a card? It's both. The card is more like a debit card, except you're not the one paying - your MoviePass card does. The process is easy to follow once you have your app and card and are at the movie theater.

Restrictions include the limit of one movie a day, no 3-D showings and users must pick a movie 30 minutes before it starts. So you can't get tickets for a movie the next day. The card also works for only one person, so couples, friends and family would have to get their own cards.

For people who don't visit their local movie theater more than once every one or two months, this isn't for you. For those who, like me, spend every weekend hitting the big screen, MoviePass is a deal you won't want to pass up.
