You can stock your garden and do some last-minute Mother’s Day shopping at sales this weekend, including:

The Asotin County CattleWomen’s annual Mother’s Day Weekend Plant Sale is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and Saturday in Boyd Hall at the Asotin County Fairgrounds, 412 Fairgrounds Road, in Asotin.

The sale includes annuals, perennials, houseplants, tomato plants, vegetables and succulents, with proceeds going to the group’s scholarship fund. Master gardeners and representatives from the LC Valley Beekeepers will be on hand as well.

The Moscow Garden Club’s plant sale is from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Latah County Fairgrounds, 1021 Harold St., in Moscow, with flowers, herbs, veggies, hanging baskets and houseplants.

A Spring Fair and Open House is set for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday in the Pullman Community Garden at Koppel Farm, SE Derby Street and SE Professional Mall Boulevard, in Pullman.

Gardening experts will be available to answer questions, and a variety of vendors will be set up, including The Battleground Food Truck, Whitman County Master Gardeners, Palouse Audubon Society and Just Trade, selling items like fair trade baskets, singing bowls and produce bags.

The Moscow Farmers Market’s second week of the season includes music by classic rock band Rewind from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in Friendship Square.

The market runs from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. downtown on Main Street.

Local vendors, live music, kids’ activities, food trucks, beer and wine are on tap at a Maker’s Night Market from 3-9 p.m. Saturday at Spiral Rock Events, 25844 Old Spiral Highway, Lewiston.

The Bank Left Gallery, 100 S. Bridge St. in Palouse, is putting on a tea luncheon from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday.

A Mother’s Journal: Celebration of Love Through Food includes an array of sandwiches and desserts for $28. Reservations can be made by emailing owner and chef Nelson Duran at na_durang@yahoo.com.

The Calam Shriners will serve a Mother’s Day Breakfast Buffet from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday at Station 3 Family Restaurant, 916 Sixth St., Clarkston.

Tickets for the fundraiser — $15, $10 for ages 6-11 and free for children younger than 5 — will be sold at the door. Beverages are not included.

Catch the final performance of Tapestry Women’s Choir’s free “Beautiful World” concert at 7:30 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church, 200 N. Mill St., Colfax.

The group, which includes singers from throughout Whitman County, performs concerts on the Palouse twice a year.

Season tickets to the Washington Idaho Symphony make a lasting gift, and they’re on sale now at wa-idsymphony.org/tickets.

Tickets for the group’s four-concert 53rd season at the University of Idaho Administration Auditorium in Moscow are $100. For the two-concert Silverthorne Chamber Series at Lewis-Clark State College in Lewiston, they’re $36.

Highlights for the season, themed “Silhouette,” include a holiday performance, “Nutcracker and Other Holiday Favorites,” and the annual concert highlighting up-and-coming talent, “Side-by-Side with Young Artists.”
