Charles George Cochrane of Princeton will celebrate his 85th birthday with a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Prince-ton Community Center.
He was born Nov. 18, 1930, in Moscow to Eugene and Edna Cochrane.
He and Donna Cochrane were married May 22, 1959, in Coeur d'Alene.
He worked at Bennett Lumber Products in Princeton for 40 years, retiring in 1995.

He has lived in the area all his life. He enjoys fishing and hunting.
His wife died in 2007.
He has two sons, one daughter, three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
His family will be hosts for the celebration.
