Lenore 4-Leaf Clovers

Members held a meeting June 17 at Sunset Park in Lewiston, and seven members, four guests and the leader were present.

The members discussed the community service project to take place directly after the meeting, at the Salvation Army soup kitchen in Lewiston.

Laramie Finnell did a demonstration called “Common Pig Diseases” and Ruth Bateman did a demonstration titled “How to make a Goat Playground.”

The club’s July meeting was held Monday at the Kerby home shop at Cherrylane with five members, three parents and the leader attending.

Charlotte Thompson led the American flag pledge, and Gus Hagestead led the 4-H pledge. Members discussed 4-H camp, July 12-15 at Camp Wooten.

Gus Hagestead did a demonstration titled “Vegan Burgers vs. Beef Burgers” and Bateman did a demonstration called “What Kind of Tools Do You Need for a Sewing Project?”

The club’s next meeting is 6:30 p.m. Aug. 5 in the Kerby shop.
