A free community meal will be served from 4 to 5:30 today at the Episcopal Church of the Nativity, 731 Eighth St., Lewiston. The church’s food pantry is open 8:45 a.m. to noon every Tuesday.

​​​​ASOTIN — The Asotin United Methodist Church will be serving a free community dinner at noon Sunday. The meal will be served in the Education Building (behind the church) at 313 Second St., Asotin.

MOSCOW — St. Mark’s Episcopal Church will observe the feast of Pentecost on Sunday with special music at its 9:30 a.m. service. Melissa Parkhurst, music director for the service, will lead African-American spirituals, blues and contemporary gospel. Singers will be accompanied by Parkhurst on piano and other musicians on guitar and bass. Attendees are invited to wear red to match the red decorations of the church, which symbolize the tongues of fire. The Rev. Robin Biffle will preside at service of Holy Eucharist and Baptism. A covered-dish lunch will follow the service. The church is at 111 S. Jefferson St., across from the Moscow-Latah Public Library. The ninth annual 14 Days of Praise runs Monday through June 23. The event will feature church-based live music and is set for 7 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. daily, and all day June 15 and 22 at Brackenbury Square in downtown Lewiston.

A free food distribution is set for 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, 1115 13th St., Clarkston, outside rain or shine. No appointment or documentation will be required. Attendees are encouraged to bring a box or bag.

MOSCOW — The Catholic Women’s League rummage sale is set for 5 to 8 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. to noon June 15 at Saint Mary’s Family Center, 618 E. First St., the corner of First Street and Howard.
