The band Throw Together will perform bluegrass gospel at 4 p.m. today at Living Heritage Church, 2534 Appleside Blvd., Clarkston. Food will be available for purchase and a vintage and hot-rod car show will be held at the same time.

The Riverview Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will hold its annual ward conference at 9 a.m. Sunday. The conference will take place in the church house at 1123 16th Ave., in Clarkston. Bishop Dyle Stoddard will conduct the service and Stake President Matthew Clegg will preside.

The combined choirs of the First United Methodist Church of Lewiston and United Methodist Church of Clarkston will sing “Love Divine, All Loves Excelling” by Joseph Martin and “How Firm a Foundation” written by Jackson Henry during each church’s Sunday’s service. The services will begin at 9:30 a.m. at the Lewiston church, 1906 Broadview Drive and at 11 a.m. at the Clarkston church, 1242 Highland Ave. The choirs will be directed by James Payne, music director of Clarkston’s UMC and will be accompanied by Kris Haynal, music director of Lewiston’s First UMC. Both churches have coffee fellowship following their services.

The Lewiston First United Methodist Church’s Seeds of Hope Women’s Tea is set for 1:30 to 3 p.m. Sunday. The event will focus on learning more about one another; immigration, refugees and asylum seekers; and ways to help. Dan Savage of World Relief Spokane will give a presentation. The church is at 1906 Broadview Drive in Lewiston. There is no cost to attend. A freewill donation will be accepted for local World Relief.

His Remnant Ministries Free Seventh-day Adventist Church’s Saving Health Education Session will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday through May 24 and at 10 a.m. May 25. Saving Health Network leader David Cook will lead the event. Topics include health as well as meal preparations for those who desire to overcome bad eating habits or seek to excel in spiritual knowledge in health. The church is at 3707 14th St., Lewiston.
