Theodore (Ted) Anderson

Theodore (Ted) Anderson, 52, passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2012.

Ted was born May 19, 1959, in Spokane, to Barbara and Hume Pollock. During his childhood he enjoyed camping, hunting, motorcycles and sports. He was very adventurous. As a teenager, he and the family relocated to Baker City, Ore. There he was active in sports and in 1977 graduated from Baker High School.

In 1980, he met DeAnna Ross and made her his wife. Together they had two beautiful children, Victoria and Tony. Even though life's unforeseen circumstances separated them, Ted loved them so very much and held them close to his heart.

Ted spent the remainder of his life residing in Clarkston. He worked in the construction industry for several years, which he really enjoyed (building and creating was in his blood!). He loved time with his friends, which usually involved a cold one and country music! He was a history buff and had dreams of one day tutoring young adults in that subject. He loved reading - in his younger years he could tear through a novel in less than a day; Stephen King was one of his favorite authors. Ted loved MOPAR, hot rods, old-time movies, antiques, tools (he possessed an insane collection!), German shepherds (especially his loving companion, Serena) and, of course, his family.

He was so proud of his great-nieces, Mya Mae and Madi, and his great-nephew, Kyron. He took lots of joy in watching them grow. Ted is survived in death by his loving mother, Barbara; his children, Vicki and Tony; his sister, JuliAnne; his brother, Richard; nephew Tyler; and niece Jennifer. He was loved by all and will always be missed.

There will be a memorial conducted to celebrate his life at noon Sunday at the Clarkston Lions Club. Bring your favorite dish.

"Death leaves behind a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal." Ted ... gone but never forgotten.
