Kathryn A. Tacke, a uniquely gifted and generous woman, died suddenly of natural causes in the early morning hours of Friday, July 2, 2021, at her home in Lewiston.

Helen Anne Swett was born prematurely Feb. 4, 1943, in Silverton, Ore., weighing in at only 3 pounds, 7 ounces. Her parents, Percy G. Swett and Alma Trullinger Swett, were told they were fortunate that Helen survived. But survive she did.

Betty was born May 29, 1926, and died Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2020. She was preceded in death by her parents Marie and Hugh Barkley. Betty lived in Cloverland, graduated from Clarkston High School in 1943, where she met her second husband, Bruce Patton.
