Anita Vowell Bader passed peacefully into our heavenly father’s arms Saturday, Jan. 7, 2023, following a short hospitalization due to complications from Parkinson’s disease. She was surrounded by family and friends in the days preceding her death.

Gregory James Buratto was born in Seattle on May 9, 1940, to A.R. and Gail Buratto. He died peacefully on Sunday, Jan. 8, 2023, surrounded by family at Life Care Center of Lewiston.

After a courageous 25-year battle against Prostate Cancer. Frank “Larry” L. Cassidy Jr., age 83, passed away peacefully at home with his wife Marilou at his side on Jan. 19, 2023. Always positive about his situation, when asked how he was doing he would respond, “I’m in the hunt.”

Victor Laverne Thulon, was born April 18, 1938, in Spokane, and passed away peacefully at his home in Juliaetta, the morning of Jan. 29, 2023, at the age of 84. During his lifetime, he resided in Spokane, Grangeville, Clarkston and, since 1981, Juliaetta.

Kenneth R. Stouffer was born Nov. 5, 1944, and passed Friday, Jan. 6, 2023. He was a war baby, second child, and first son born to Kenneth E. and Angelica Stouffer.

(Edith) Lorraine Smith peacefully passed away Friday, Jan. 20, 2023, at home after a short but courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. She was 70 years of age.

Charles Linden Ridinger, of Lewiston, passed away peacefully on Monday, Jan. 9, 2023, surrounded by his family. Treating her husband with the utmost dignity and respect, Chuck’s wife Jan, cared for him at home until his passing.
