It looks like a warm Father’s Day weekend in the region, with the Lewiston-Clarkston Valley expecting temperatures in the low 90s and the Palouse to top out in the mid-80s.


WHITE BIRD — Events at the White Bird Rodeo begin at 6:15 p.m. today at the rodeo arena and 7 a.m. Saturday with a breakfast at IOOF Hall. Saturday will also include a parade at 11 a.m., with a queen luncheon to follow at IOOF Hall, a stick horse race at 4 p.m. and rodeo to follow at the White Bird Rodeo Arena, 6 miles south of White Bird. Music will be featured both evenings.


The Lewiston Civic Theatre’s production of the Disney musical “Beauty and the Beast” is set for 7:30 p.m. today and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday at the Lewiston High School auditorium, 1114 Ninth Ave. The cost is $19 for adults, $16 for veterans and seniors ages 60 and older, $14 for students ages 13 through college and $11 for ages 12 and younger. PULLMAN — “Galaxies,” a planetarium show, begins at 7 p.m. today and 5 p.m. Sunday at the Washington State University planetarium, Room 231, Sloan Hall. A multimedia lecture will cover the basics of “the most beautiful of large-scale structures in the universe: galaxies.” The cost is $5 (cash or check only) and free for ages 6 and younger.


MOSCOW — The Moscow Farmers Market is set for 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Main Street and Friendship Square. Dan Maher and The Range Benders are the featured entertainment.


WINCHESTER — The Winchester Saturday Market is from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Main Street and Nezperce Avenue, downtown.


KAMIAH — The Idaho Department of Fish and Game’s Take Me Fishing free event will be from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Robinson Pond for Kids’ Fishing Day. Fish and Game supplies instructions, and all equipment and bait will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. KAMIAH — The 2019 Kamiah Rodeo runs Saturday and Sunday at the Clearwater Valley Roundup Association grounds, Hill Street. The cost is $10 for the regular price and free for children ages 7 and younger. The schedule includes an all-you-can-eat breakfast from 6:30-9:30 a.m. Saturday and Sunday. The open rodeo competition begins at 6 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. Sunday.


MOSCOW — Huckleberry Fest will be from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the 1912 Center, 412 E. Third St. Breakfast will include waffles, homemade huckleberry syrup and sausages. Proceeds will benefit Sojourners Alliance. The cost is $10 for the regular price and free for children ages 5 and younger.
