RIGGINS — A U.S. Highway 95 paving project 13 miles north of the Time Zone Bridge at Riggins is ongoing, the Idaho Transportation Department reported Thursday.
The highway is reduced to one lane with alternating traffic controlled by flaggers. Drivers may expect delays of as much as 15 minutes during the project. Pullouts on the highway will be temporarily closed for a few hours at a time as the route is paved in that area.
Contractors have been on-site during the day. Two lanes are open during nonworking hours.
Construction is expected to be finished in the next two weeks, the transportation department said.
