Bugs are welcome at this hotel

Jayde Achziger, 12, of Clarkston is creating a hotel for a variety of bugs by layering materials such as bark, sticks, bamboo, moss, cardboard, pine cones, lavender and toilet paper rolls. She and 10 other children were learning from Renee Coulthard in Kids College at Lewis-Clark State College on Monday during the first of three weekly sessions of classes this summer. New tenants of the bug hotels might include bees, ladybugs and lacewings.
