MOSCOW — Dr. Kraig White has been elected chairman of the Gritman Medical Center Board of Directors.
White was selected by the hospital’s board and is the first physician to have the role since Dr. Charles Gritman founded the hospital in 1897.
White has been an emergency medicine physician at Gritman since April 2018. He previously served as a family medicine physician with Moscow Family Medicine and as a team physician for University of Idaho student athletes.
He succeeds Greg Kimberling, who is retiring as board chairman and from the board. Kimberling is president of a Farmers Insurance office with locations in Moscow and Lewiston.
Lori M. Stinson was also elected to the Gritman board for a three-year term. Stinson is the provost and vice president for academic affairs at Lewis-Clark State College.
