In fall 1959, students in grades 5, 6 and 7 at Holy Trinity School in Nezperce lined up for their photo. At the school, three or four grades at a time were combined into one classroom, and teachers were Benedictine nuns from St. Gertrude’s Convent in Cottonwood. The school closed a few years after the photo was taken, and many of those pictured graduated from Nezperce High School in the mid-1960s.
