A Beef Quality Assurance Training class aimed at those who transport cattle will be held Sept. 24 at the Lewiston Roundup grounds’ Ketch Pen along Tammany Creek Road south of Lewiston.
The class will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will provide cattle transporters the latest training on safe handling and hauling techniques for cattle, according to a news release. There will be two tracks in the presentation: one for professional truck drivers and the other for farmer/rancher drivers. Attendees who complete all the modules during the training will receive an official Beef Quality Assurance Transportation certification.
