Twin Rivers Toastmasters No. 1426
Members met March 6 in Room 143 in the Student Union Building at Lewis-Clark State College in Lewiston.
Katie Gieske won the best speaker award, Mark Havens won the best evaluator award and a guest won the best table topic speaker award.
Members decided not to hold a club contest. The Area Contest is planned from 8:30 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Lewiston Community Center.
Alpha Delta Kappa, Beta Beta Chapter
There were 11 members at the chapter's March 10 meeting at Grantham Elementary school in Clarkston. Virginia Fisher, Luann Nedrow and Cyndra Broenneke were hosts.

At the February meeting, $180 was raised for the Ronald McDonald Houses. Pop tabs are also being saved to benefit the houses. Funds raised for this cause from all state chapters will be presented April 28 at the Washington State Convention in Spokane.
A scholarship is available for students who graduated from or are a current resident of Asotin, Latah, Nez Perce or Whitman counties.
Nedrow and Patti Lee will be chapter delegates to the state convention. Members approved a motion to support an $8 increase in state dues at the convention.
The last Salvation Army dinner for the school year will be prepared by chapter members May 30.
Gail Scott provided information about the Court Appointed Special Advocate program and Lee shared information about the Stars Shine at Grantham Elementary.
Kathi Meshishnek encouraged members to participate in the MS Walk April 28 at Swallow's Park in Clarkston.
Members played a type of "White Elephant" exchange game after the meeting which raised money for the general fund.
The next regular meeting is 9 a.m. May 19 at the Clarkston home of Sharon Hoseley, 1136 Washington St. Kathy Hocking, Hoseley and Meshishnek will be hosts and the program will be "Life in Queensland, Australia."
Good Sam Club, Seaport Sams Chapter
Ten members gathered Tuesday at the Lewiston Elks for their monthly dinner and meeting.
Birthdays for the month were celebrated for Darlene Billing and Virgil Lundgren.
Campouts for the year were discussed with the first one set for April 16-20 at the campground at Myrtle. The covered-dish dinner will be held April 18 with a business meeting to follow.
Other campouts are May 14-18 at Canyon Pines south of Riggins and June 5-10 for the State Samboree at Blackfoot.
The Samanthas luncheon will be Tuesday at the Hideaway in Lewiston.
Lewis-Clark Toastmasters No. 369
Patti Mann was toastmaster for the group's meeting Thursday.
Cody Stauffer's speech title was "The Outlaws" and he was evaluated by Kent Barnett.
Tom Eier's speech title was "Sure I Will" and he was evaluated by Victor Racicot.
Stauffer won best speaker and Barnett won best evaluator.
Larry Ferguson headed table topics which were won by Peter Allaegart. Bruce Neu was grammarian.
There will be a club speech contest Thursday.
