An efficient Logan Chase went the distance and only conceded two free bags, while his teammates piled up 11 base hits to beat the Missoula Mavericks 11-4 in the Dwight Church Tournament at Lewiston's Church Field on Friday.

Chase scattered six hits over seven innings and managed to keep his pitch count down. He hit two batters, but didn't allow a walk.

"We've been talking about no free bags," Twins coach Kyle Blackwell said. "... He finished the ball game and he was efficient."

Eight different Twins had hits in the game, led by Jake Munoz, who tallied three with a double. Julian Washburn also had a pair of hits, which included a two-bagger.

"That's the part that excites me, the guys are getting better," Blackwell said.
