Sheriff's office investigating after two found dead near Uniontown

The Whitman County Sheriff's Office is investigating the deaths of two people discovered at a home near Uniontown.

The bodies of Aaron D. Marshall, 25, of Uniontown and Britnie M. Schatz, 23, of Clarkston were located at about 6 p.m. Sunday after family members had not had contact with one of the decedents for some time, according to a sheriff's office news release.

The cause and manner of death will be determined by the coroner, according to the release, and the sheriff's office investigation is continuing.
