ELK RIVER - Two people were taken by Life Flight to the hospital following an ATV accident.

According to the Latah County Sheriff's Office, the accident occurred at 6:20 p.m. Saturday at Upper Basin Road. Deary Ambulance, Moscow Paramedics, Life Flight and Latah County sheriff responded to the accident.
No other information, including the names of patients, the hospital or the number of vehicles involved, were available Saturday evening.
