High water near Genesee

Tribune/Steve hanks Cow Creek near Genesee has jumped its banks, creating a new channel through a farm field as heavy snow melt and overnight rain helped create high-water conditions Friday morning. Warmer temperatures and increasing chances of precipitation are expected to bring additional melt over the next few days, according to the National Weather Service in Spokane.
