Combine fires break out in Whitman County

Harvest is in full swing and so were combine fires Monday in Whitman County.

There were three combines fires at various locations and times, according to Whitcom Emergency Dispatch Center.

A combine fire was reported to Whitcom at 6 p.m., located on the 1500 block of Fugate Road, Palouse. The fire was extinguished without incident.

Whitcom received another report of a combine fire at 4:45 p.m. on Pullman Airport Road, Pullman. The fire was extinguished shortly after.

A third fire was reported to Whitcom just before 4 p.m. on Martin Druffel Road in Colton. That fire also was extinguished without incident.
