Grow moves back to Lewiston for rest of jail term

Former Nez Perce County commissioner required to qualify for work release

Posted: Tuesday, February 5, 2013 12:00 am

Former Nez Perce County Commissioner Michael A. Grow moved into the county jail here Saturday, but it will take some additional paperwork before he's allowed to stay for the duration of his sentence.

Grow, who pleaded guilty to three misdemeanors in connection with a 2011 incident at a residence in Valley County, has to qualify for work release to be allowed to stay in the Lewiston jail, Nez Perce County Deputy Prosecutor Nance Ceccarelli said Monday. If he does not qualify, he will return to Valley County to serve the remaining 60 days of his sentence.
