Man pleads innocent to meth trafficking charges

Posted: Thursday, September 19, 2013 12:00 am

A Tri-Cities man pleaded innocent to trafficking methamphetamine and possession of methamphetamine after allegedly throwing more than 85 grams of the drug out his window last month during a traffic stop.

Travis E. Frazier, 41, of Kennewick, was pulled over Aug. 29 near the Lewiston Albertsons for an outstanding Nez Perce County warrant. During the stop, a narcotics dog detected the presence of methamphetamine odors coming from the vehicle. A search of the vehicle came up empty, according to court records, but officers apparently discovered a plastic baggie containing the drugs on the side of the road a short distance behind the vehicle.
