Bridget Kathleen Pitman and Tyler Robert Wilkinson were married at 6 p.m. July 20 in an outdoor ceremony at Roys Barn outside Bozeman, Mont., by the Rev. Dave McConnell of the Bozeman United Methodist Church. The bride was given in marriage by her father, Bruce Pitman.
The bride earned a bachelor's degree in Spanish and public relations from the University of Idaho and a master's degree in higher education administration from Montana State University in Bozeman. The bridegroom earned a bachelor's degree in sociology from Mars Hill College in North Carolina.
She works as the foundation manager for Bozeman Area Community Foundation and he is manager of Bozeman Running Co. and also works as a race director in the Bozeman area.
Bridget's parents, Bruce and Kathryn Pitman of Moscow, and Tyler's parents, Bob and Claudia Wilkinson of Blowing Rock, N.C., were in attendance.
The matron of honor was Jenna Farmer Garrett of Miami Beach, Fla., and the bride's brothers, Andrew Pitman of Olympia and Evan Pitman of Jasper, Ind., served as her bridesmen.
The best man was the groom's father, Bob Wilkinson, and the groom's sisters, Brittany Lurie of Asheville, N.C., and Kelsey Wilkinson of Bozeman, served as his groomswomen. Keith Efland, Scott Martinka, Brynn Smith and Hartley Reidner were ushers. The bride's niece, Addie Pitman, and the groom's nephew, Wilkin Lurie, served as the flower girl and ring bearer. Music for the ceremony was provided by violinist Jesse MacDonald.
The reception followed the ceremony at Roys Barn, after which the newlyweds traveled to Tulum, Mexico, for their wedding trip.
